CLIENT PRIVACY COMMITMENT

This notice describes our privacy practices regarding information we collect in conjunction with your business with SCBuilders.

In the course of our business relationship with you, we collect information about you that is necessary to provide you with services. We value your confidence in us and we treat this information as confidential and recognize the importance of protecting it.

INFORMATION WE COLLECT

We collect certain information (non-public personal information) about you from the following sources:

  • Information you provide on your employment and related forms, such as your social security number, income, name and address;
     
  • Information about your transactions with us, our affiliates or others;
     
  • Information we receive from a consumer reporting agency, such as your employment history, credit worthiness or credit history.
     

We use this information to  verify your employment, verify any funds you may have on deposit with a financial institution, and as necessary to evaluate and process information needed to begin construction or complete paperwork on the purchase of your new home.

SHARING INFORMATION

We do not share non-public personal information about our customers or former customers to anyone, except as permitted or required by law.

CONFIDENTIALITY & SECURITY OF INFORMATION

We restrict access to your non-public personal information to those employees who need to know that information, to those companies or individuals that provide services to us, and in order to provide products and services to you. We maintain physical, electronic and procedural safeguards that comply with federal regulations to guard your nonpublic personal information.

You can begin your new home construction project by selecting your own home plans or come by our office to work with any of our local designers.
